Lifeguard – Hotel Pool Safety

About the role
The Lifeguard ensures the safety of guests at the hotel pool by using appropriate rescue techniques, monitoring the swimming area for hazards, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Observe swimmers and intervene using rescue techniques when needed.
- Monitor the pool area for dangerous conditions, unsafe activities, and assist injured guests until emergency services arrive.
- Maintain pool deck cleanliness, handle towels, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
Required qualifications
- CPR certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
