Lifeguard – Sports & Leisure at Creekside Hotel

About the role

Join the Sports and Leisure team at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel as a Lifeguard, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests in the pool and beach areas. You will be responsible for delivering high‑standard lifesaving services, maintaining equipment, and supporting hotel events.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain Ellis & Associates lifeguard licence, demonstrating water rescue, First Aid and CPR competence.
• Follow all Ellis & Associates guidelines, hotel SOPs and Emergency Action Plans.
• Monitor pool and beach areas, enforce safety rules and intervene when necessary.
• Inspect, clean and maintain lifesaving equipment to ensure readiness.
• Keep pool and beach surroundings litter‑free and hygienic.
• Operate any machinery or equipment safely according to training.
• Maintain personal fitness required for lifesaving duties.
• Assist with large hotel events and functions as needed.
• Conduct swimming lessons for guests when certified.
• Handle lost‑and‑found items according to policy.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year lifeguard experience in a five‑star hotel or comparable aquatic facility.
• Ability to swim eight 25‑meter lengths in five minutes or less (tested).
• First Aid certification and proficiency in CPR.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
