Lifting Supervisor

About the role

Royal International Construction, part of United Al Saqer Group, is seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor to lead and coordinate all lifting activities on its construction sites in the UAE. You will ensure that every lift is performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with approved plans and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise crane and heavy‑equipment lifting operations on site.
• Verify load weights, lifting points, and equipment suitability before each lift.
• Coordinate lifting schedules with project teams, site engineers, and riggers.
• Conduct pre‑lift briefings, toolbox talks and ensure all personnel understand the lift plan.
• Monitor equipment certification, inspections and operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of lifts, inspections and safety documentation.
• Enforce HSE policies and local safety regulations throughout the lifting process.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in construction lifting operations, preferably with heavy or critical lifts.
• Technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, crane load charts and lifting calculations.
• Good understanding of HSE standards and construction safety regulations.
• Proven leadership, communication and coordination abilities.
