Light Vehicle Driver

About the role

Safad Trading Establishment is looking for a dependable Light Vehicle Driver to support daily business and operational activities in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for transporting staff, documents, tools and light materials safely and on schedule while representing the company professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles in compliance with UAE traffic regulations and internal policies.
• Perform scheduled pickups, drop‑offs, deliveries and collections across Abu Dhabi.
• Conduct basic pre‑trip vehicle checks and report any maintenance, damage or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery notes, fuel logs and other required documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading light items, ensuring secure handling.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized and well‑maintained.
• Plan efficient routes, monitor traffic conditions and communicate delays to the supervisor.
• Provide courteous service to colleagues, clients, vendors and visitors.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence for light vehicles with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads, major routes and traffic rules.
• Ability to use navigation applications and plan efficient routes.
• Basic vehicle inspection skills (tires, fluids, lights, roadworthiness).
• Strong punctuality, reliability and attention to detail.
• Professional communication and ability to handle confidential documents.
• Physical ability to lift and handle light materials when required.
