Light Vehicle Driver – Logistics

About the role

The Light Vehicle Driver supports Al‑Futtaim Logistics by transporting goods across AFL locations throughout the UAE. You will operate light vehicles and trucks up to 3.0 t, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a damage‑free record. The role is essential for maintaining high service quality and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Drive light vehicles and trucks up to 3.0 t across all AFL sites and UAE locations, handling tasks such as port clearance, picking, binning and scanning.
• Maintain a 100 % damage‑free record and promptly report any accidents or incidents involving company property.
• Accurately complete vehicle log books and update fuel dates using the SMART Fill System.
• Follow company Quality SOPs for vehicle handling and implement new QC initiatives.
• Wear required uniform or PPE, interact professionally with internal and external customers, and scan bin locations using the RDT device.
• Perform washing, cleaning and fueling of new units, and collaborate with team members and senior management.

Required profile

• Matriculation passed and aged 25 years or older.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving class 3 vehicles with a valid category 3 licence.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong teamwork and time‑management abilities.

• Proficient in driving and handling light vehicles up to 3.0 t.
• Ability to maintain accurate vehicle logs and reports.
