Linux Systems Administrator

About the role

The Linux Systems Administrator will support the design, deployment, and management of a centralized data‑center environment in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on maintaining Linux‑based servers, storage, and virtual infrastructure while ensuring high availability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, configuring, and deploying multi‑user Linux operating systems and related hardware.
• Support the implementation and fine‑tuning of high‑availability technologies, clustering, and redundancy testing.
• Perform routine maintenance, software and security updates, and backup/recovery procedures on production servers.
• Administer virtual environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Analyze system logs, monitor network connectivity, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Document changes, follow policies, and support escalation processes for data‑center operations.
