Lobby Host – Luxury Resort

About the role

As a Lobby Host at One&Only One Za’abeel, you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering the brand’s signature warmth and anticipation. You will ensure arrivals and departures run smoothly while creating memorable, personalized moments throughout each stay.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Front Office and Guest Services to guarantee seamless guest arrival and departure.
• Greet guests with a sincere smile, escort them to the lobby or other areas, and provide a thorough room orientation following Forbes and LQA standards.
• Offer the One Welcome experience, serving refreshments such as juice, water, or chilled towels while guests wait.
• Assist with luggage handling, car parking, and transportation arrangements as needed.
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs, delivering personalized touches and supporting in‑room setup.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all hotel outlets, menus, facilities and on‑ and off‑property activities to act as a trusted brand ambassador.
• Provide genuine recommendations about the property, local culture, arts, nature and events.
• Communicate guest inquiries professionally, direct them to the appropriate team, and keep guests informed of any on‑property changes.
• Share VIP arrivals and notable guest movements with the team to ensure coordinated service.
• Uphold and exceed LQA and Forbes service standards at all times.

Required profile

• High school completed; university degree is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience in guest relations or a similar role within a luxury hotel.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Detail‑oriented, organized, flexible and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
