Locum Cardiology Registered Nurse – OPD (3‑Month Contract)

About the role

This temporary position supports the Cardiology Out‑Patient Department at King’s College Hospital Dubai. The locum Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care to patients attending the clinic, working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based nursing care in line with Dubai Health Authority guidelines.
• Record patient histories, perform diagnostic tests and administer prescribed medications.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring relevant medical equipment.
• Develop and update patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Communicate patient information sensitively to patients, families and the MDT.
• Maintain accurate, legible patient records and report adverse incidents as required.
• Support nursing audits, staffing flexibility and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Valid UAE Medical Health Authority (DHA) nursing licence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Current Resuscitation certification relevant to the specialty.
• Active participation in CPD activities.
