Logistics Coordinator – Manage Shipments & Documentation

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee the end‑to‑end movement of goods, both locally and internationally. The role ensures shipments are processed efficiently, documentation is accurate, and deliveries meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local and international shipments from order confirmation through to final delivery.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, couriers, and customs agents.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping and delivery documents, including customs paperwork.
• Track shipments, follow up on deliveries, handle customs clearance, and resolve any pending issues.
• Work closely with warehouse and internal teams to align stock, loading, and dispatch schedules.
• Arrange transportation and delivery schedules based on customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, proof of delivery (POD) and logistics documentation.
• Obtain freight and transportation quotations when needed.
• Manage shipment delays, shortages, damages, and documentation discrepancies.
• Prepare basic logistics and shipment reports.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
• Good knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Strong coordination, follow‑up, and communication abilities.
• Experience in the UAE market is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
