Logistics Coordinator - Offshore

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator – Offshore will oversee and synchronize all logistics activities that support the execution of oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures the timely movement of materials, equipment and personnel while adhering to company policies and ADNOC standards. The coordinator will act as the central point of contact for all logistics stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics operations, including transportation, material movement and lifting activities.
• Manage shipment schedules, customs clearance, port operations and related documentation.
• Liaise with vendors, freight forwarders and ADNOC logistics teams to secure timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels, warehouse activities and material tracking systems.
• Prepare logistics reports, delivery status updates and material movement records.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and ADNOC logistics procedures.
• Support mobilization and demobilization of project personnel and equipment.
• Coordinate marine, land and air logistics as required by the project.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of logistics experience in the oil & gas industry.
• At least 5 years of offshore logistics experience; ADNOC project experience mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of offshore processes, utility systems and material handling.
• Candidate must demonstrate ability to work under strict safety and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/material tracking systems such as SAP, Maximo or Oracle.
• Expertise in logistics, shipping, customs clearance and inventory management.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment and offshore utility systems is essential.
