Logistics Executive – Coordinate Global Shipments

About the role

Join NAFFCO as a Logistics Executive, coordinating global shipments, customs documentation, and freight partners to keep materials moving smoothly, accurately, and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, Delivery Note, and Certificate of Origin.
• Coordinate sea, air, land, and courier shipments with freight forwarders, transporters, shipping lines, airlines, and courier companies.
• Liaise with Customs, Sales, Loading & Packing, Warehouse, Production, and other internal departments to ensure timely processing.
• Arrange shipment bookings, track vessel, flight, and delivery schedules, and provide updates to relevant teams.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations from logistics service providers when required.
• Ensure all shipping and customs documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within required timelines.
• Follow up on customs clearance and coordinate with concerned teams to resolve any documentation or clearance issues.
• Support the preparation and processing of Certificate of Origin and other import/export documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, freight documents, and logistics transactions.
• Assist in resolving shipment delays, delivery discrepancies, and other logistics-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable customs and shipping requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in logistics coordination, shipping, import/export, or freight forwarding, preferably with knowledge of UAE customs procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
