Logistics & General Subjects Instructor (Level I)

About the role

AL TAIF is seeking a qualified Instructor I to deliver logistics and general subjects training to UAE Army personnel. The role involves designing, delivering, and evaluating classroom and workshop courses while ensuring safety, security, and high graduation rates.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce all safety and security policies during training activities.
• Advise the Chief Instructor on course development, delivery, and student performance.
• Deliver classroom and workshop training on logistics and general subjects.
• Design, develop, and analyse courses using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
• Prepare and deliver operator courses and technical evaluations for GMC technicians.
• Provide coaching and remedial training to maximise graduation rates and test scores.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and computers, ensuring they are accounted for and serviced.
• Develop and continuously improve instructional materials such as lesson plans, handouts, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training programs to stay current with instructional techniques.
• Support faculty members and uphold confidentiality of company information.

Required profile

• A degree in a relevant field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Graduate of a recognised school or military training program in combat vehicles (preferred).
• Minimum four years of experience as an instructor in logistics or general subjects.
• At least two years of military experience (advantageous).
• Experience applying the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) (advantageous).
• Excellent written English and ability to communicate verbally.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence or ability to obtain one.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
