Logistics Operations Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Operations Officer to oversee end‑to‑end multi‑modal shipment workflows in Dubai. The role involves coordinating air, sea and land freight, handling customs documentation for both Free Zone and Mainland shipments, and ensuring smooth delivery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound freight forwarding operations across air, sea and land modes.
• Prepare, audit and submit customs clearance documents in line with UAE Free Zone and Mainland regulations.
• Liaise with shipping lines, cargo agencies, transport vendors and port authorities to arrange bookings and optimise routes.
• Monitor freight expenses, audit carrier invoices and drive cost‑control initiatives.
• Troubleshoot transit delays, customs holds and other operational exceptions to maintain delivery timelines.
• Coordinate communication between sales, procurement, warehousing and external logistics partners.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of freight forwarding or logistics experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration.
• Strong knowledge of UAE customs, Free Zone and Mainland regulations.
• Proven stakeholder management and vendor negotiation abilities.
