Logistics Specialist – Refrigerated Cargo

About the role

We are seeking a driven Logistics Specialist to join our multicultural team in Dubai. The role focuses on managing the movement of refrigerated and frozen cargo, ensuring all export documentation is accurate and timely. You will work closely with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to guarantee a smooth logistics process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, collate, review, and dispatch export documents for refrigerated loads.
• Set up daily container traffic with strategic vendors and track container movements.
• Coordinate customs clearance, inspections, and deliveries to customers and warehouses.
• Review weekly vendor invoices and approve payments.
• Liaise with internal teams, carriers, forwarding companies, trucking firms, cold storages, and other AJC offices to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1‑3 years of international logistics, import/export, inventory, documentation, or transportation experience.
• Fluent English communication skills; a second European language is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and various modes of transportation.
• Experience with refrigerated or frozen product logistics is advantageous.
