Logistics & Transport Coordinator

About the role

Danar FZE is seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics & Transport Coordinator to oversee the company’s transportation, import/export documentation, and customs processes in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage transportation arrangements for import and export shipments.
• Request, collect, and verify all required transport and shipping documents related to import and export invoices.
• Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping agents, transport companies and other logistics service providers.
• Liaise with ports, customs brokers and relevant authorities regarding cargo arrival, customs clearance and release of shipments.
• Monitor shipments throughout the entire transportation and customs clearance process.
• Prepare and arrange Certificates of Origin and other required trade documentation.
• Ensure all shipping and customs documentation is accurate, complete and submitted on time.
• Coordinate documentation between suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, ports, customs brokers and internal departments.
• Track shipment status and proactively resolve any transportation or documentation issues.
• Maintain organized records of all logistics, transportation, import/export and customs documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, import/export, freight forwarding or customs clearance.
• Good understanding of international shipping and import/export procedures.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously.
• Good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer applications.

What we offer

• Starting salary of AED 5,000 per month, with final package discussed based on experience and qualifications.
