Mall Marketing Manager

About the role

The Mall Marketing Manager will lead the planning, execution, and analysis of all marketing campaigns and events aimed at driving footfall and sales across the mall. This role also ensures exceptional tenant service and contributes to the mall’s financial profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and track marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Plan, coordinate and execute special events, community initiatives, merchandising, fundraising, tourism, and retailer‑based events.
• Manage event budgets, monitor costs and provide progress updates to the Director.
• Prepare event notifications, recaps, photos, retailer/partner results, press clippings and summaries.
• Create promotional materials and collateral for events.
• Drive merchant participation in mall‑sponsored and partner events.
• Set annual and quarterly social media goals, develop strategy and oversee brand‑consistent voice.
• Collaborate with a digital marketing agency to maintain a social promotional calendar.
• Develop and execute an annual press release distribution plan, write releases and manage third‑party writers.
• Identify sponsorship opportunities, prepare packages and negotiate terms with the Marketing Director.
• Compile sponsor participation results and report outcomes.
• Design the annual marketing plan, analyse merchant sales and support merchant growth through advertising initiatives.
