Manager Chartering Gas

About the role

ADNOC Logistics & Services is seeking a Manager to lead its gas chartering activities. Reporting to the SVP/VP, you will oversee all commercial chartering operations, ensuring efficient execution of tonnage and cargo requirements while maintaining the highest safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day commercial chartering activities for inbound and outbound vessels and cargoes.
• Plan, manage and communicate execution of tonnage and cargo requirements, owning outcomes.
• Maintain and develop internal and external customer relationships to achieve mutually beneficial results.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with ADNOC and third‑party customers.
• Approve documentation to meet ADNOC standards and provide technical support during negotiations.
• Prepare, analyse and present market and performance reports in a timely manner.
• Supervise, train and develop the chartering team, addressing skill gaps.
• Contribute to budget preparation, monitor variances and support cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial chartering, preferably within the gas or energy sector.
• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop new revenue streams and manage complex stakeholder expectations.
• Leadership experience with team supervision and development.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control and performance reporting.
