Manager – Completions & Commissioning

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced Manager to lead completions and commissioning activities for large‑scale EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role oversees the transition from FEED through EPC completion, ensuring safe and efficient handover of assets to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to PMC and contractor commissioning teams from FEED to EPC completion.
• Plan, direct and supervise all commissioning activities, including mechanical completion, performance testing and resolution of CARs/NCRs.
• Coordinate pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures with contractors and vendors to meet production targets.
• Review and approve handover documentation, operating manuals, spare parts and consumables.
• Participate in technical reviews such as HAZOP, SIL and design studies, and attend vendor workshops for acceptance testing.
• Manage commissioning schedules, shift crews and day‑to‑day activities to stay within budget and timeline.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and advise maintenance and engineering departments on complex technical matters.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in commissioning and mechanical completion on EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of FEED, EPC and handover processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to align cross‑functional teams.
• Solid background in HSE compliance and risk management.
• Effective communication skills for reporting to senior management.
