Manager, Compliance Operations Transformation

About the role

The Manager, Compliance Operations Transformation will lead planning, design and execution of digitisation initiatives across compliance functions. The role coordinates high‑priority projects, supports process automation and AI‑driven transformation for AML, sanctions and broader compliance risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities across AML, sanctions screening, KYC, CDD, transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting.
• Design, execute and monitor major compliance transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort and improve control effectiveness.
• Promote adoption of AI/ML, analytics and digital tools for FCC enhancements.
• Maintain project documentation, change‑management processes and ensure controls meet internal and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate workshops, working groups and regular review meetings with relevant business units.
• Provide clear progress reporting, risk and issue updates, and actionable recommendations.
• Drive a continuous‑improvement culture across compliance operations.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in regulatory and FCC transformation within a banking or financial‑services environment.
• Hands‑on experience in compliance process optimisation, project management or system enhancements.
• Exposure to screening engines, transaction‑monitoring systems and case‑management tools.
• Prior experience in a UAE banking or financial‑services compliance setting.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT, sanctions and broader compliance frameworks.
