Manager Crew Engagement

About the role

As the Manager Crew Engagement you will lead the development, wellbeing and performance of our cabin crew community. You will design and deliver engagement programmes, coach crew members and partner with operational leaders to ensure a safe, compliant and high‑quality passenger experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and coach cabin crew to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Design and implement development, career progression and recognition programmes.
• Organise engagement events, workshops and forums to strengthen crew connections.
• Oversee performance management, provide data‑driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Training, Service Delivery, Guest Relations, HR, Cabin Safety and Welfare to address performance concerns.
• Champion safety, compliance and operational excellence in line with GCAA and international aviation standards.
• Lead investigations into service or performance issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and feedback across the cabin crew community.

Required profile

• Degree from a recognised university or professional qualifications in business/people management (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years experience in a people‑management role.
• Experience as operating cabin crew is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of airline safety, security, operations and cabin crew management.
• Proven ability to manage large multicultural work groups in an airline or hospitality environment.
• Excellent project‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• High level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
