Manager Crew Engagement

About the role

The Manager Crew Engagement leads the development and wellbeing of our cabin crew community in Abu Dhabi. You will shape performance, career progression and employee experience while ensuring operational excellence across the airline.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and inspire cabin crew to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Design and implement engagement, performance and career development programmes.
• Create and run events, workshops and recognition initiatives for crew members.
• Oversee performance management, providing data‑driven insights to senior leaders.
• Partner with operational heads to address performance issues and drive improvements.
• Act as the crew’s voice across Training, Service Delivery, HR, Safety and Welfare functions.
• Lead investigations into service and operational matters and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote a culture of safety, compliance and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Degree from a recognised university or professional qualifications in business/people management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a people‑management role.
• Experience as operating cabin crew is preferred but not essential.
• Understanding of managing large multicultural teams in airline or hospitality settings.
• Good knowledge of airline safety, security and cabin crew operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
