Manager – ESG & Integrated Reporting

About the role

PwC’s Academy Middle East is expanding its Capital Markets team and seeks a Manager to lead ESG and Integrated Reporting projects across the region. The role involves delivering high‑quality client engagements, supporting business development, and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage ESG and Integrated Reporting projects for clients in various sectors.
• Support the Partner/Director in identifying and converting new business opportunities across the Middle East.
• Apply strong knowledge of Integrated Reporting, GRI and other sustainability frameworks.
• Collaborate with sustainability experts to develop reporting strategies and support implementation.
• Coordinate with PwC teams in other jurisdictions on cross‑border projects.
• Coach, train and mentor junior staff, contributing to competency development and market eminence activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in sustainability or Integrated Reporting, currently in a managerial ESG/IR role.
• In‑depth understanding of ESG and Integrated Reporting regulations.
• Proven experience conducting gap assessments and guiding companies through ESG/IR implementation.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills; fluent English (Arabic a plus).
• Willingness to travel within the Middle East and internationally as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with digital tools such as Alteryx and Power BI.
