Manager - Financial Controlling

About the role

As a Manager in Financial Controlling you will support the division’s accounting policy requirements, collaborate with Group Finance on policy development, and lead the implementation of internal controls. You will also drive the adoption of AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and precision in financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support Group and Divisional Policy and Advisory Head in developing financial internal controls, assessment and standardisation framework.
• Draft and implement divisional accounting policies, deliver training on IAS, IFRS and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with Shared Service Centres and Business Units to ensure timely financial period close and balance‑sheet substantiation.
• Drive adoption of AI and automation tools, build solutions for recurring controlling deliverables and establish data‑governance over AI outputs.
• Support audit processes, prepare financial statement drafts and liaise with external auditors.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a large organisation at a supervisory level.
• Strong analytical, process‑oriented mindset and excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and exposure to SAP BW, BPC and SAC.
