Manager - General Accounting And Accounts Receivable

About the role

We are seeking a Manager to lead our General Accounting and Accounts Receivable function in Abu Dhabi. The role will oversee the end‑to‑end accounting processes, ensure timely collection, and maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide knowledge leadership and act as the subject‑matter expert for accounts receivable, invoicing and reporting.
• Mentor and train team members, offering guidance on complex tasks and process challenges.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, compliance and quality.
• Lead a team of process specialists, allocate resources and ensure balanced workload distribution.
• Track and resolve issues or blockers, ensuring smooth process execution.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, SLAs and project goals; conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal and regulatory requirements, collaborating with audit and legal teams.
• Manage aged trial balance, monitoring overdue accounts and categorising them appropriately.
• Set clear, measurable targets with the team and provide ongoing leadership and vision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent.
• Proven experience in managing accounting and accounts‑receivable teams.
• Strong understanding of compliance, audit requirements and financial reporting.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and lead change.
