Manager - Internal Audit

About the role

The Manager – Internal Audit will lead the planning, execution and supervision of the full audit cycle for Midis Group in Dubai. Reporting to the Internal Audit Director, you will provide independent assurance on operational effectiveness, financial reliability and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update the annual Internal Audit Plan in line with the organisation’s risk profile and stakeholder priorities.
• Monitor progress of audit assignments, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget and schedule while adhering to internal audit methodologies.
• Review audit fieldwork, testing, working papers and conclusions for accuracy, completeness and compliance with standards.
• Maintain audit documentation in the internal audit management system (e.g., TeamMate+).
• Draft and review audit reports, ensuring observations, risks, root causes and recommendations are clearly presented.
• Evaluate management responses and corrective action plans, confirming accountability and timelines.
• Lead special investigations, advisory reviews and provide independent advice on internal controls and risk mitigation.
• Prepare consolidated audit result summaries and present key findings to senior management.
• Build strong relationships with business units to facilitate effective audit collaboration.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualification such as CIA, CFE, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
• Proven experience in managing internal audit engagements, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of risk management, internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication and report‑writing skills.
