Manager Logistics Performance

About the role

The Manager Logistics Performance will own the commercial and performance engine behind Talabat UAE’s operations. You will understand how the business makes money, which levers move margins, and translate data‑driven insights into actionable decisions. The role sits at the intersection of operations, finance and strategy, working directly with senior directors and VPs.

Key responsibilities

• Own the commercial and P&L aspects of UAE operations, tracking cost‑per‑order, rider cost and efficiency metrics, and presenting data‑backed trade‑offs to leadership.
• Manage the operational KPI stack, forecasting, monitoring gaps and driving interventions to keep the P&L on target.
• Lead optimisation projects across rider economics, staffing, vendor performance and area‑level improvements, balancing cost, rider earnings and customer experience.
• Build and interrogate complex data models, create dashboards and translate insights into clear recommendations; SQL (BigQuery) and Looker/Tableau are strong pluses.
• Drive high‑impact cross‑functional projects, develop business cases, pilot solutions and scale successful initiatives while engaging senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in operations, commercial, strategy or consulting, preferably in marketplace, logistics or Q‑commerce.
• Commercial instinct with a clear understanding of business levers and margin drivers.
• Strong data literacy and analytical judgment; able to challenge assumptions and draw sound conclusions.
• Executive presence to engage, challenge and stand ground with directors and VPs.
• Fluency in financial modelling and P&L analysis.
• Bias for ownership, follow‑through and readiness to grow into people‑leadership.
