About the role

The Manager, QARA for UAE, Africa & MEA provides operational leadership for quality assurance and regulatory affairs across a diverse set of highly regulated markets. Based in Dubai, this role ensures regulatory compliance, effective quality‑system execution, and sustained market access while safeguarding patient safety and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs activities for product registration, maintenance and lifecycle management across the United Arab Emirates, Africa and the rest of the Middle East & Africa region.
• Ensure compliance with regional and country‑specific regulatory requirements, internal policies and the DePuy Synthes quality management system.
• Partner with regional leadership and global QARA stakeholders to identify and mitigate regulatory and quality risks while supporting product lifecycle activities and operational continuity.
• Safeguard patient safety by guaranteeing that products are available in the market in a compliant manner.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs within the medical‑device or healthcare industry.
• In‑depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the UAE, African markets and other MEA jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and work closely with regional and global stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
