Manager, Special Projects

About the role

Atlantis Dubai is seeking a Manager, Special Projects to lead and coordinate complex initiatives across its two world‑class resorts. The role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, supporting both operational excellence and strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, designers, contractors and specialist suppliers to define project scopes and objectives.
• Act as the client representative, coordinating internal resources and third‑party vendors for flawless execution.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on‑time, within scope and budget, providing regular progress and cost‑tracking reports to senior management.
• Obtain necessary approvals, signatures and legal documentation, including LOIs, contracts and government permits.
• Monitor design and construction progress, conduct quality checks, and address issues to minimise delays.
• Manage changes in scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Maintain comprehensive project tracking documentation and relationships with vendors.
• Support assessment and certification of contractor and supplier payment applications.

Required profile

• Strong background in project management, budgeting and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team‑player with a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Experience coordinating large‑scale construction or refurbishment projects in a hospitality environment.
