Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and equipment. The role will support new product launches, improve existing operations and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to drive cost‑effective, high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products and maintain BOMs and routings.
• Design and optimise manufacturing processes, equipment and systems to boost efficiency and quality.
• Develop, test and justify tools, machinery and equipment for new or improved production methods.
• Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks, inefficiencies and machine reliability issues.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Prepare facility layouts and equipment drawings using CAD software.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing and production teams.
• Assist quoting and order management with technical input and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine design, welding and CNC machining.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methods.
• Basic knowledge of Six Sigma (certification a plus).
