Manufacturing Manager - Production Supervision (Special Process & Combustion)

About the role

The Manufacturing Manager leads the daily operations of the Special Processes, Legacy Alstom and Combustion Cells at the Jebel Ali Service Center, ensuring safe, reliable, efficient and high-quality execution. The role covers production planning, cross-functional coordination and operational excellence, with autonomy in decision-making and a focus on continuous improvement, transformation and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver fulfillment metrics (SQDCC) through leadership of Legacy Alstom and Combustion Products operations
• Lead a cross-functional team of operations, method and quality engineers, and drive the cells' expansion, capability and transformation roadmap
• Mentor teams on Lean principles, problem solving and continuous improvement
• Maintain cell capacity, manpower planning and scheduling to meet customer demand
• Govern variable cost expenditure, partner on yearly budget planning and align with the Plant Leader's roadmap
• Manage customer relationships and technical queries with engineering, services and project management teams
• Facilitate Kaizen events on cost-out, lead time, safety, quality and process flow
• Lead the Daily Management System (DMS) implementation and support NPI, equipment qualification and CAPEX planning
• Track the CI ideas pipeline and report savings, including PCO and CoPQ reduction
• Act as interface with fulfillment and materials, coordinate preventative maintenance, and drive standardization and flow improvements across product families and repair processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
• Minimum 4 years of experience in gas turbine repairs or manufacturing operations
• Proven experience managing frontline teams and delivering operational KPIs
• Strong command of Lean tools (Kaizen, DMS, VSM, standard work) with a track record of implementation
• Strong written and spoken English

Desired characteristics

• Technical understanding of gas turbine component repair, especially special processes, legacy Alstom and combustion products
• Experience leading Kaizen events and managing multiple product families or repair flows
• Ability to lead change in fast-paced environments and strong collaboration across functions
