Manufacturing Operator – Production & Safety

About the role

The Operator supports safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations, delivering excellence in safety, quality, service, and cost. This hands‑on role provides technical expertise and operational guidance to meet production targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Champion Ecolab’s Goal Zero and Safety‑First culture by identifying risks, conducting safety observations, and participating in BBS programs.
• Operate mixing, filling, packaging, and related equipment according to SOPs, ensuring product quality and productivity.
• Monitor process parameters, perform start‑up/shutdown, and manage shift handovers to maintain continuity.
• Supply raw materials using authorized handling equipment, including forklifts where certified.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
• Participate in internal audits, CAPA activities, and quality investigations.
• Engage in TPM, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S initiatives to improve equipment effectiveness and workplace organization.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude toward safety and continuous improvement.
• Ability to follow SOPs, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Willingness to report hazards and support corrective actions.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).

Required skills

• Operation of mixing, filling, and packaging equipment.
• Forklift operation (certified).
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge.
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
• Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodology.
• Use of personal protective equipment and machinery safeguards.
