Market Supervisor – Food & Beverage

About the role

Join the launch team of Abu Dhabi's first Time Out Market as a Market Supervisor. You will lead the café team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a vibrant, high‑traffic food and culture destination.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily café operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service.
• Execute opening, operating and closing procedures according to company standards.
• Lead, motivate and support the barista team to achieve operational excellence.
• Conduct shift briefings, assign duties, monitor workflow and allocate tasks throughout the shift.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Manage stock levels, inventory, product rotation and wastage.
• Monitor POS transactions, payment handling and daily sales activities.
• Support sales targets through upselling and effective service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety regulations.
• Report equipment maintenance issues and complete shift handovers and operational records.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of direct work experience in a similar role.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Knowledge of drink recipes and beverage presentation.
• Experience in high‑volume operations, opening and closing duties, guest relations and sanitation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and basic mathematical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain composure.
• High school diploma preferred.
