Marketing Engineer

About the role

The Marketing Engineer will support the planning, analysis and documentation of marketing activities, ensuring accurate and reliable business information. This role combines data collection, performance tracking and technical marketing documentation to enable informed decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Compile technical and commercial data for marketing plans and budgets, and update planning templates with actual performance figures.
• Collect and structure market data on customers, competitors, products and pricing; analyse sales performance and market trends using approved tools.
• Track marketing activities against defined performance indicators, update monitoring files and report deviations from approved plans.
• Prepare technical marketing materials, product data sheets, presentations and comparative data between company products and competitors.
• Maintain and update marketing databases, ensure proper archiving and accessibility of marketing information, and support enhancements to reporting templates and tools.
• Coordinate with sales and other departments to obtain required inputs and ensure timely circulation of marketing reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting formats, data accuracy and stay updated with market developments and industry practices.

• Ability to acquire updated soft and technical skills relevant to the role.
• Deliver planned activities on schedule, use resources efficiently and provide periodic deviation reports.
• Solve operational problems and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Ensure quality requirements are met and implement effective quality control processes.
