Material Engineer - Civil

About the role

Azizi Developments is seeking a seasoned Material Engineer to lead the selection, testing and quality assurance of construction materials for its high‑rise and residential projects across Dubai. The role ensures that all materials meet project specifications, regulatory standards and performance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve material submittals, guaranteeing compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and laboratories for material testing and approvals.
• Conduct on‑site inspections and evaluations of construction materials.
• Maintain detailed records of material approvals, test reports and compliance documentation.
• Support the QA/QC team in monitoring the use of approved materials throughout construction.
• Stay updated on new materials, technologies and construction standards applicable in the UAE.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in contracting or consultancy firms, preferably on residential/high‑rise tower projects in Dubai.
• Exposure to a wide range of project types including residential, hospitality, high‑rise and special projects.
