Mathematics Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join GEMS Wesgreen International School with an immediate start. The successful candidate will teach across the British curriculum from early years through Year 13, fostering a love of mathematics and supporting each learner to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive mathematics lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum resources and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating classroom environment that promotes high expectations for achievement and wellbeing.
• Participate in professional development programmes and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.

Required profile

• A B.Ed. or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/PGDE (or equivalent) specialising in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching the National Curriculum for England; early‑career teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated passion for innovative and inclusive learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of mathematics content and pedagogy.
• Effective lesson planning and student assessment techniques.
