Mechanic – Maintenance of Rotating Equipment

About the role

The Mechanic will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing rotating equipment and machinery within ADNOC Drilling’s plant in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive and predictive maintenance checks and tests on machinery according to schedules.
• Carry out corrective maintenance by dismantling, assembling and replacing components to restore defective equipment.
• Conduct new installations, modifications, start‑up and shutdown of critical equipment.
• Participate in annual shutdowns, major turnarounds and coordinate removal of equipment for workshop overhauls.
• Maintain tools, safety gear and ensure a clean work environment.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in heavy‑equipment mechanical repairs within the oil/gas or power‑plant sector.
• Ability to work in A/C‑conditioned environments and occasional outdoor conditions (heat, humidity, dust).
