Mechanical Design Engineer – EPC Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join Archirodon’s EPC team in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the detailed engineering, design and execution of a brownfield oil & gas project that adds a new production train and gas‑lift compressor train.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts and specifications for site execution.
• Provide technical design support to construction teams and resolve design‑related issues.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, technical queries, method statements and submittals.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, procurement, planning and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC requirements, project specifications, ASME, API and other international codes.
• Monitor engineering revisions, manage design changes and keep approved drawings up‑to‑date on site.
• Support installation, piping, supports, fabrication, testing and commissioning activities.
• Assist with material take‑offs, as‑built drawings, inspections and project hand‑over documentation.

• Familiarity with ADNOC project requirements and international codes.
