Mechanical Engineer

About the role

AESG is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its growing team in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering safe, durable and high‑performance mechanical designs while integrating sustainable engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake mechanical engineering calculations and system design for all project stages, from concept to detailed design.
• Develop designs for HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, and smoke management systems.
• Produce technical reports, calculations and engineering studies, and support equipment selection and system sizing.
• Deliver design packages in line with project programmes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Membership of a professional institution such as CIBSE, ASHRAE or IMechE.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mechanical Building Services Design.
• Strong knowledge of local UAE/GCC codes and regulations related to mechanical system design.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with HAPIES Virtual Environment.
• Experience with Hevacomp.
