Mechanical Inspector – Site Supervision (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our site supervision team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves carrying out thorough mechanical inspections on construction and industrial projects across the UAE, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections of equipment, piping, HVAC systems and industrial machinery to verify quality, safety and specification compliance.
• Identify, document and report defects, non‑conformities and potential issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of findings.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to resolve mechanical issues and ensure timely implementation of solutions.
• Participate in project meetings, provide technical expertise and stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in mechanical inspection or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of building construction, materials, systems and trade practices.
• Proficiency with relevant computer applications.
• Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize in a changing environment.
