Mechanical Technician I – FCT

About the role

Join one of the world’s largest food companies as a Mechanical Technician I in the Food Production (FCT) area. You will be responsible for maintaining mechanical equipment, ensuring high‑quality operations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve all mechanical breakdowns within the assigned area.
• Maintain mechanical standards, controls, and quality checks.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team on continuous improvement projects.
• Handle chemical products safely and comply with HSE requirements.
• Ensure GMP, 5S, Good Manufacturing Process, and Food Defense compliance.
• Reduce mean time to repair (MTTR) by effective line presence.
• Log anomalies, complete M1‑M3 notifications, and confirm work orders in the PM system.
• Report HSE hazards, accidents, incidents, and deviations.
• Assist in risk‑assessment preparation and participate in food‑safety training.

Required profile

• Technical course (minimum 2 years) in Mechanical Trade or related field.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance within the food or FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of mechanical controls, drives, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and lubrication.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair skills for mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
