Mechanical Technician – Maintenance & Reliability

About the role

The Mechanical Technician ensures timely delivery and optimal performance of equipment within the Maintenance Base. The role focuses on reducing non‑productive time, improving maintenance efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the prescribed maintenance program and reliability‑centered maintenance strategy.
• Record all material, labor, and equipment data in the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems, including work orders, parts used, and time spent.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects aimed at reducing downtime, enhancing asset utilization, and lowering cost of service delivery.
• Support failure investigations and implement planned repair and reuse of parts.
• Ensure compliance with TLM standards, competency management, and transactional discipline.

Required profile

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or production environment.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning, execution, and documentation processes.
• Ability to work within a structured, data‑driven maintenance system.

Required skills

• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) usage.
• Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) system proficiency.
• Knowledge of reliability‑centered maintenance principles.
