Medical Affairs Manager

About the role

The Medical Affairs Manager will lead clinical governance, physician engagement and regulatory projects for SEHA Clinics in Abu Dhabi. This senior position reports to the Chief Medical Officer and ensures high‑quality patient care, compliance and financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Chair, co‑chair or serve on medical committees such as M&M, Privileging and Occupational Board.
• Support physician privileging, re‑privileging and expansion of clinical scope, maintaining a 100% audit target.
• Coordinate with clinical leadership to ensure physicians retain appropriate competencies.
• Oversee case reviews, identify improvement opportunities and drive recommendations at M&M meetings.
• Lead bi‑weekly physician meetings to communicate clinical updates, regulatory changes and special projects.
• Engage internal stakeholders to align on initiatives requiring physician awareness.
• Lead and coordinate special projects assigned by the CMO, ensuring successful implementation.
• Prepare clinical readiness for programs such as IFHAS, Well‑Child Visits, Premarital Screening and Obesity Management.
• Collaborate with clinical leads to identify and implement new procedures and service expansions.
• Achieve Medical Affairs KPI and performance metrics.
• Provide overall leadership for medical departments, ensuring productive meetings, patient‑centered care and financial sustainability.
