Job Title: Medical Coder / Insurance Coordinator Organization: DRHC Workplace Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Employment Type: Full Time Salary: AED 7,000 – AED 10,000 per month (as estimated in source posting) Candidate Prerequisites: Certified Medical Coder | DHA Guidelines Knowledge | DRG & Medical/Billing Auditing | IP & OP Prior Authorization Role Summary DRHC is seeking an experienced Medical Coder / Insurance Coordinator to join its team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical coding, insurance coordination, claims, auditing, billing, and applicable healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of Dubai-based experience with knowledge of DHA guidelines, along with practical exposure to DRG, medical auditing, billing auditing, and health insurance procedures. Candidates must also be familiar with IP and OP prior authorization processes and have experience working in a Daycare, Day Surgery Centre, or Hospital. Coordinate and support insurance-related processes, claims, and requirements. Apply knowledge of DHA guidelines and healthcare regulations to daily activities. Work with DRG-related coding and documentation requirements. Conduct medical and billing audit activities as required. Support IP and OP prior authorization processes. Review insurance-related documentation and ensure compliance with applicable rules and procedures. Candidate Profile Education & Experience: Certified Medical Coder with a Medical/Healthcare background; minimum 2 years of experience in Dubai, including experience in a Daycare, Day Surgery Centre, or Hospital. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with DRG; experience in medical auditing and billing auditing; familiarity with IP and OP Prior Authorization processes.
