About the role

The Medical Laboratory Assistant will work within a busy clinical laboratory in Dubai, supporting the laboratory team in daily operations. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to develop practical laboratory skills in a safe and regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and prepare patient samples for analysis.
• Label specimens accurately and maintain proper documentation.
• Set up and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
• Ensure the laboratory area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist senior staff with routine tasks and follow established laboratory procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of laboratory safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to follow standard operating procedures.
