About the role
The MEP CAD Draftsman will create and refine mechanical, electrical and plumbing design drafts for construction projects in Dubai. The role involves producing accurate 3D models, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating closely with architects and engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Present rough design drafts for client approval.
- Ensure product designs meet required safety and structural standards.
- Generate solid and surface CAD models using AutoCAD software.
- Blend technique and aesthetics to create final designs.
- Present various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations.
- Prepare both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
- Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations.
- Communicate with architects and engineers and incorporate feedback into drawings.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Mechanical degree, Diploma or ITI qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of Gulf country experience.
- Must be locally available in the UAE.
- Can start immediately within a week.
