MEP CAD Draughtsman – Dubai Airport

About the role

VIVO Defence Services is seeking an experienced MEP CAD Draughtsman to join its Dubai Airport Technical Manpower team. The role focuses on producing, updating and integrating mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) drawings in line with Dubai Airports standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and combine detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD, including layout plans, schematics and diagrams.
• Ensure drawings follow T&GIS standards (coordinate system, naming conventions, layer structure) and comply with Dubai Airports and local codes.
• Update and revise drawings based on site modifications and progress review meetings.
• Collaborate closely with the T&GIS team, system engineers, contractors and other engineers to guarantee accuracy.
• Communicate drawing changes effectively and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct site visits when required to gather data for drawing preparation or revision.
• Track project progress and assist with reporting to meet schedule commitments.

Required profile

• Diploma (minimum three years) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience as an MEP CAD Draughtsman, with a minimum of 1 year on Dubai Airports or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to work with AutoCAD for MEP systems and to adhere to strict drawing standards.
