MEP Inspector – Construction Supervision

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced MEP Inspector to join its Construction Supervision team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and SCADA works on major infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, standards and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all MEP works related to storm‑water pumping stations.
• Verify construction activities against approved drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Conduct routine site inspections, document observations, deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Witness installation, testing, pre‑commissioning and commissioning of pumps, electrical equipment, instrumentation and control systems.
• Review delivered materials for compliance with approved submittals.
• Monitor contractor adherence to method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures.
• Report non‑conforming work and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and supervising engineers.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Support project close‑out activities, including final inspections, snagging and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction inspection/supervision on infrastructure projects.
