MEP Project Engineer HVAC – Construction Industry Experience

About the role

Meraki Group is looking for a highly skilled MEP Project Engineer with strong HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire‑fighting expertise to lead mechanical works on construction projects in Dubai. The role involves coordinating design, installation and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with client specifications and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technical drawings, interpret specifications and define mechanical requirements.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, obtain approvals from consultants and main contractors.
• Verify HAP heat‑load calculations, perform ESP fan calculations and pump‑head sizing.
• Coordinate site activities with the main contractor and project manager, arranging manpower and material delivery.
• Resolve RFI queries, address submittal issues and ensure health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Monitor quality assurance of all mechanical components and produce detailed reports.
• Diagnose equipment problems, troubleshoot installations and ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in MEP projects, preferably in the construction sector.
• Proven project‑management experience and a valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and strong communication skills.
