MicroStation Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CAD / MicroStation Technician to join our Roads & Infrastructure design team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves creating, updating and maintaining precise engineering drawings and documentation for roads, highways and related civil works using MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed engineering drawings, plans, profiles, sections and construction/IFC drawings for road and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain drawing standards, layers, scales, coordinates and dimensions in accordance with UAE and GCC specifications.
• Produce and manage technical documentation and design files using MicroStation, AutoCAD and related software.
• Collaborate with engineers and consultants to ensure design accuracy and compliance with local authority requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, CAD or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of CAD drafting experience on roads and infrastructure projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC region.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with MicroStation and solid working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with local road design standards and authority procedures.
