MIS Accountant (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking an MIS Accountant to join the Automotive Divisional Controlling team in Dubai. The role focuses on supporting the AM/FM in delivering robust financial reporting, policy development, and internal control compliance for the division.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing accounting policies and draft new policies specific to automotive operations.
• Provide inputs for policy revisions and coordinate implementation with Business Unit finance teams.
• Conduct regular trial balance reviews and balance‑sheet substantiation.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with group standards.
• Support the implementation and compliance of the internal controls framework.
• Assess risk and insurance requirements and liaise with insurance partners.
• Assist with monthly closing, general ledger reviews, and key account reconciliations.
• Coordinate external audit activities by providing schedules and explanations.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Experience in reviewing and drafting accounting policies.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and balance‑sheet substantiation.
• Familiarity with internal control frameworks and audit coordination.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional finance teams.
